introAs a (Senior) Business Analyst at NN Group, you will support the Group Data Management team at one of the Netherlands' largest insurance companies. Based in The Hague, you will use your vast knowledge of financial instruments to standardise the execution of data processes and assure the accuracy of our financial and risk reporting. So doing, you will help safeguard our reputation and protect what matters most to over one million customers.But it's not all hard work and no play at NN. Expect to be involved in international projects, where your input as a (Senior) business analyst will be a crucial part of NN Group's success. You will collaborate with multiple teams and manage various stakeholders involved in reference data, identifying opportunities to optimise processes and onboard changes in the daily operations. So doing, you will ensure that all departments have quality data to work with. In addition, you will:

• Design and implement (large scale) onboarding of local business units while helping them to standardise their operational processes from a data perspective
• Analyse business requirements and test and implement new asset types
• Assess data quality issues in the current landscape and help build a solid data quality framework
• Develop and document technical requirements and business processes for successful implementations
• Implement standard data models in various business units

As a born communicator, you enjoy interacting with other professionals at all levels of the organisation. You do this with a collaborative, service-minded and change-driven attitude while being assertive enough to check the validity of requests. Always taking ownership of your tasks, you are driven to solve problems and have a proven ability to work cross-functionally to achieve your goals and objectives, but can work independently, too. You have an analytical mind and love diving into data. Additionally, you possess:

• At least 7 years of relevant experience as a Business/Data Analyst at an asset management company or a comparable financial services company
• A good understanding of the impacted attributes of financial instruments from a data perspective
• The ability to assess data quality issues in the current landscape and help build a solid data quality framework
• Extensive knowledge of financial instruments such as bonds, equities and derivatives
• Experience working with data vendors, such as Bloomberg or Refinitiv
• An excellent command of MS Excel. Knowledge of Markit EDM and SimCorp Dimension is a bonus
• A basic understanding of static data setups, such as instruments, parties and portfolios is a plus

You will be joining our Data Management team, which is part of the Operations department within NN Group Insurance Investment Operations. The team provides standardised data services by sourcing, validating and distributing data about financial instruments, legal entities, portfolios, reference data and associated business processes. Currently, there is a small team of four analysts, who manage the data management changes with an offshore support team for daily operational work. The atmosphere is positive, open and flexible and the team is diverse and very international. We are also extremely ambitious, always striving to deliver outstanding standardised data services to our stakeholders. Collaboration and communication are key to our success.
