We are currently looking for a Domain Architect Infra to join the team in Delft .

The Security, Privacy and Architecture (SPA) department within the ICT directorate is a team of approximately 28 professionals in these fields. It is a close team, focused on good cooperation both within the team, as well as with the rest of ICT and its customers. You will be working within the SPA team, specifically the team architecture.

As Domain Infra, you will develop and describe the domain architecture the higher education organization. This architecture is on the one hand a translation of the (digital) strategy for your domain and on the other hand the content framework, within which the translation to portfolio and implementation can take place. As Domain , you are the trusted advisor to the ICT department. Managers, portfolio-, program- and project managers and technical specialists are your interlocutors. You are responsible for designing, maintaining and implementing the domain architecture and, together with fellow architects, for the translation to information architecture. You also ensure the coordination with other domains.

Main responsibilities

• Development and maintenance of infrastructure aspect architectures that align with strategic objectives.
• Evaluation of emerging technologies and trends to recommend infrastructure improvements and innovations.
• Development of strategies for Cloud integration and security.
• Translating business continuity requirements into infrastructure provisions.
• Identification of cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
• Collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams to implement and maintain.

Requirements

Technical Skills:

• Experience with cloud solutions: Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, and Azure and experience with public Cloud deployment projects.
• Cloud technology: Knowledge of Cloud technology such as Application Virtualization (Kubernetes, Dockers) and Automation and Orchestration tooling.
• Application Integration: Knowledge of common application integration solutions including IPaaS, API Management and Enterprise Service Bus.
• Security: Understanding of cybersecurity principles, data integrity, and being compliant with laws and regulations.
• Hardware Knowledge: Market knowledge of common ICT hardware technologies and associated capabilities.

Soft Skills:

• Problem solving skills: Ability to quickly and efficiently identify and solve complex technical problems.
• Communication skills: Be able to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, both orally and in writing.
• Analytical ability: Strong analytical skills to translate technical requirements into effective infrastructure solutions.
• Flexibility and adaptability: Adaptable to rapidly changing technologies and the business environment.
• Leadership qualities: Leading and motivating teams, as well as taking responsibility for critical decisions.
• Innovative thinking: Capable of applying new technologies and ideas to improve and optimize infrastructure.
• Language skills: Fluency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
