Being one of our Data Analysts it is your role to challenge the business and to support with data-driven projects and you will act as a business partner to your stakeholders. In this way you will advise and implement solutions, provide data analysis and translate business knowledge into data insights. With your solid knowledge about data warehouses and data visualisation, you are ready to start data driven projects. This role will focus on the area of our Logistic operations.

At PostNL our business unit "Cross Border Solutions" (CBS) makes it easy for people and businesses to communicate and trade across international boundaries. CBS aims to become the most respected service provider by supporting the cross-border e-commerce market through creative and innovative distribution solutions. In this international business unit we have 13 offices worldwide with 1.200 employees, being agile, customer focused and reliable. CBS serves customers over 190 countries.
In CBS the department called "Business Intelligence & Analytics" (BI&A) provides insights for the entire CBS organization. We aim for the whole of CBS to have the knowledge and tools to be capable to make data driven (fact based) decisions. This BI&A team has 22 members in total. In your sub-team you will have 10 fellow Data Analysts.

Next to your entrepreneurial mindset, business acumen and ease to connect with various people, you are clearly a data freak. You are happy when you can put your hands in (Big)data and create custom made data solutions for your stakeholders.
In summary you can find yourself in the following background:

• A Bachelor or Master degree in various IT, Statistics or Economics directions;
• At least 3 years' experience in a comparable Data Analyst or Business Analyst position;
• Experience with BI & Data warehousing fundamentals;
• Skilled in the use of PowerBI and SQL;
• Solid experience with various dashboards and reporting;
• Experience with financial reporting and/or Customer experience is an advantage;
• Ideally some experience working in an Agile / Scrum environment;
• Reading and maybe even programming skills with Python or R will be an advantage;
• Strong in English, both verbal and written.
